Phosphorylation of lamin A by US3 kinase in vitro. Full-length lamin A fused to GST was partially purified and reacted with either purified GST-pUS3 or GST-pUS3(K220A) in the presence of [γ-32P]ATP, followed by incubation in the presence or absence of λ-Ppase.
