Cyclosporin A (CsA) differentially affects the production of Th2 cytokines. One million T cells were cultured with 10⁶ P815/CD80 cells in 1 ml medium. UCHT1 MoAb was added at a concentration of 2 μ g/ml. CsA was added to parallel cultures at a final concentration of 400 ng/ml. After 1 (IL-4) or 4 (IL-5, IL-13) days of culture, supernatants were collected and IL-4, IL-5 and IL-13 concentrations were determined by ELISA. The figure shows the results of seven (a) and 16 (b,c) independent experiments.
