Carrier effect of pMTB and pRSV in different mouse strains. Mice (8–10 per group) were immunized with pMTB–heterospecies dimer (HSD), pRSV–HSD, diphtheria toxoid (DT)–HSD or HSD alone. In all, three injections of alum-adsorbed antigen were given at an interval of 4 weeks. Antibody titres at 5 and 9 weeks are shown in individual animals as points and the bar represents the geometric mean of the group.
