Production of IL-2 and IFN-γ in response to stimulation with phytohaemagglutinin (PHA) and Candida antigen (CMA). Peripheral blood mononuclear cells from patients with chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis (P) and controls (C) were stimulated in culture and supernatants assessed for IL-2 (a), IFN-γ (b), IL-4 (c), and IL-10 (d).
