In vitro effect of melatonin on anti-CD3 antibodies stimulated Th cell proliferation in the presence of APC. Anti-CD3 antibodies elicited CD4+ T cells were cultured with melatonin and splenocytes. CD4+ T cells cultured with anti-CD3 antibodies in the presence of APC induce 6395 ± 572 cpm. Cells incubated with the medium alone or in the presence of APC showed < 2000 cpm.
