Detection of IL-18 in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) cultured without stimulation (–) or with lipopolysaccharide (LPS) for 1 h. Lysates of PBMC were subjected to SDS/PAGE and Western blotting with an anti-human IL-18 antibody (H-173), which detects both 24 kDa precursor form IL-18 and 18 kDa mature form IL-18.
