RT-PCR analysis of mRNA expression of the molecules gp-340, SP-D, TFF1, TFF2, IL-6 and IL-8 in epithelial cell lines A549 (a) and/or AGS (b). RNA templates were extracted from unstimulated and PMA stimulated A549 and AGS cells, converted to cDNAs using oligo (dT)₁₅ primers. Molecules of interest were amplified using specific primer pairs, as described in Table 1. TfR-specific product was used as an internal control.
