The 6.4-kb plasmid pSopB-GFP used in the expression of the SopB–GFP fusion protein. Expression of SopB–GFP is from a Ptac-derived promoter containing two lac operators O1 and O2 and is induced by the addition of IPTG to the culture. The plasmid also overexpresses lac repressor from a lacIq promoter.
