A series of independent morphologically reverted CREF-Trans 6:4 NMT clones transfected with a PTI-1 AS gene were analyzed for anchorage-independent growth. With passage in culture, clones 4 NMT-PTI-AS cl 2 and cl 5 reverted to an altered phenotype similar to CREF-Trans 6:4 NMT cells.
