(A) ³²P-radiolabelled RNA-III-mut (1 μM) was incubated with the indicated amounts of NaOH for 15 min at 25°C and loaded on a 15% polyacrylamide gel. (B) Denaturation of RNA-III-wt by NaOH was quantified by PhosphorImager analysis.
