β-Gal activities were determined in E. coli DH5α(λtet50) expressing lacZ under Tet-control. tetR is encoded by pWH527. Expression of the C-terminal TrxA-Tip fusions was induced with 60 µM IPTG to determine peptide-based induction of TetR.
