Frequencies of regulatory T cells induced by syngeneic R. conorii-infected BMDCs in vitro. BMDCs of C3H and B6 mice were left untreated or stimulated with R. conorii or LPS as described for Fig. 7. After washing, BMDCs were cocultured with naïve syngeneic CD4⁺ cells for 5 days. The frequencies of Foxp3⁺ CD4⁺ T cells were analyzed by flow cytometry. Cells were gated only on CD3⁺ T cells. For each sample, 20,000 events were collected. Results are representative of two independent experiments.
