Velocity of MT gliding on AtKCBP. MTs gliding on GST/AtKCBP bound to a coverslip were tracked at leading and lagging ends using a mouse-controlled cursor overlaid on the video images and specially written software. Velocity data are shown above. The leading end velocity was 10.1 ± 0.5 μm/min (x ± SE, n = 20), and the lagging end velocity was 9.9 ± 0.4 μm/min (x ± SE, n = 20).
