Antibodies against Leishmania SIR2 protein in the sera of chronically L. infantum infected Balb/c mice. Sera from 10⁸ intraperitoneal (i.p.) L. infantum promastigotes infected Balb/c mice after 2, 8, 11, 15, 17, and 19 weeks, were used in a western blot against 1 μg of rLiSIR2 at two different dilutions, 1 : 200 and 1 : 50 (left and right lanes, respectively, for each different serum). A 0 weeks serum was obtained from noninfected mice.
