(A) HUVECs were stimulated with bFGF in the absence or presence of polyP for 30 h. The amount of incorporated [³H]thymidine was measured during the last 6 h of incubation. (B) HUVECs were pre-incubated with polyP for 1 h and then stimulated with bFGF for 10 min. Activation of ERK and p38 MAPK was determined by Western blotting.
