The bars indicate relative levels of expression measured in the wild-type strain DL1504 (wt), in the ΔrimJ mutant strain CWZ388 (ΔrimJ), in the hns651 mutant strain DL1947 (hns651), and in the fur mutant strain CWZ479 (Δfur). Relative levels of expression are expressed in comparison to the wild-type strain grown in M9 glycerol medium at 37°C. A bracket indicates a statistically significant difference in expression levels based on temperature under the given condition and is accompanied by the ratio of expression (37°C/23°C). Error is expressed as ±1 standard deviation from the mean.
