The upper and lower panels show body weights of male and female mice, respectively. Statistical analyses were scored by t test. The pups were nursed by Bsx heterozygous mutant dams. The penetrance of the growth defect is 100%, and Bsx homozygous mutant mice can be distinguished from their wild-type or heterozygous littermates by observation and/or weight.
