Crystals of the cytoplasmic ZO-binding domain of human occludin. The ZO-binding domain of human occludin was expressed in a bacterial system and purified using a nickel column. Pure concentrated (13.7 mg ml−1) ZO-binding domain was crystallized using the hanging-drop vapor-diffusion technique. The average size of these crystals is 0.1 × 0.2 × 0.1 mm.
