Mice were treated with control sheep antibody or sheep antibody neutralizing murine IFN-α/β before infection with 2 × 10⁵ plaque-forming units salivary gland extracted MCMV Smith strain. Samples were prepared 2 days after infection. Each point is the mean ± SE of results from 3–4 replicate animals. ND, not done.
