Effect of Rabring7 on EGF degradation. HeLa cells were transfected with the indicated expression plasmids. After 24 h, the serum was starved overnight and the cells were incubated with EGF for 1 h on ice. EGF degradation was measured as described in MATERIALS AND METHODS. The results are presented as a percentage of the cells transfected with the empty plasmid. The data represent three to six independent experiments with SEM.
