FL-Axin represent the longest ORF in form 1 starting from the amino acid position 125 (first methionine). Form 1 transcript lacks a 36-amino acid segment that was found in form 2. Amino terminus-deleted Axin (ΔN-Axin) was constructed by digesting with Asp1, corresponding to amino acid position 289.
