Effects of amiloride and forskolin on the Isc of αβγ MDCK cells. Tracing shows inhibition of Isc of αβγ MDCK cells by 5 μM apical amiloride. Forskolin stimulated amiloride-insensitive and -sensitive components of the Isc and increased the conductance indicated by the height of the spikes in the current tracing. Transepithelial voltage was clamped at 0 mV; 10-mV pulses were given at intervals of 3 min.
