Figure 4. — PCNA enhances ERα–ERE complex formation. ³²P-labeled oligos containing the consensus ERE were incubated with 10 fmol of purified ERα in the presence of E₂.Purified his-labeled PCNA (lanes 2–6) and ERα- (lane 5) or PCNA- (lane 6) specific antibody (Ab) were added to the binding reactions as indicated. Bound and unbound ³²P-labeled oligos were fractionated on a non-denaturing polyacrylamide gel and visualized by autoradiography. Complexes containing ERα are indicated (ERα→). Results are representative of three independent experiments.
