Survival–dose–response curves for determination of LD50/30. Control and experimental (Adhatoda-pretreated; 800 mg kg−1 body weight) groups were exposed to whole body gamma radiation at 6, 8 and 10 Gy and were checked daily for 30 days. In Adhatoda-pretreated mice, a maximum survival of 70% was observed at radiation dose rate of 8 Gy. Regression analysis was done to obtain LD50/30 values and to determine dose reduction factor (DRF).
