Pseudo-first order rate constants (k) for uptake are shown in inset. (Lower) Effects of various drugs on stimulated dopamine efflux in striatal slices from DAT^−/− animals. Results after drug application are superimposed on the predrug response. All drugs were applied at a concentration of 10 μM for 20 min, and none caused any measurable effect. Results are representative of recordings from at least 4 different animals.
