RasG localization and signaling. (A) Pulsed wild-type and icmA⁻ cells expressing TAP-YFP RasG were viewed with confocal optics. Fluorescence intensity profiles were obtained using the plot profile function of ImageJ. (B) GFP-CRAC is localized to the membrane of pulsed icmA⁻ cells. Wild-type and mutant cells expressing GFP-CRAC were pulsed with cAMP in shaking culture, plated on glass coverslips, and monitored by epifluorescence microscopy.
