Low magnification images of cells crossreacted with PcSynA1 anti-α1 antibodies (A) or PcSynA3 anti-α3 antibodies (Ba). The original fluorescent images were filtered by “nearest neighbor” deblurring. The anti-α1 antibodies labeled astrocytes (arrow in A), whereas anti-α3 antibodies did not (astrocytes were detected by glial fibrillary acidic protein labeling in some preparations).
