(A) Purified wild-type GCL was incubated at either pH 7.0 (circles) or pH 7.9 (squares) for 90 min in the presence of 10 mM DTT (total) at defined thiol/disulfide ratios. GCL activity was measured as a function of ambient redox environment (Eh). Solid lines are fits of the data to the Nernst equation (n = 2). Data shown are the average of three replicates.
