Dose-dependent stimulation of [³H]thymidine incorporation and proliferation of endothelial cells by angiogenin. For [³H]thymidine incorporation (Left), 1 × 10⁴ HUVE (solid lines) and HME (dashed lines) cells were used per well in 24-well plates (5 × 10³ cells per cm²), with six replicates for each sample. For cell proliferation assays, 5 × 10⁴ cells were used per 35-mm dish (5 × 10³ cells per cm²), with three replicates for each sample. Data shown are the percent increases over controls.
