Radiochromatograms of zinc exchange between ⁶⁵Zn₇-MT-2 and Zn₂-Gal4. Proteins (1.5 μM MT-2 and 7 μM Gal4) were incubated, an aliquot was loaded at the times indicated on a carboxymethyl MemSep-1000 cartridge at a flow rate of 9.6 ml/min, the cartridge was eluted in 10 min with a linear gradient from 5 to 250 mM sodium chloride in 10 mM Tris·Cl (pH 8.0), and the radioactivity in the fractions was measured.
