Broth microdilution assays were performed as indicated without (−) or with (+) added cAMP (10 mM for C. albicans and 1 mM for S. cerevisiae). Absorbance was recorded and MICs were determined after 42 (C. albicans) or 30 (S. cerevisiae) h; results are expressed relative to the MIC for the wild-type strain without added cAMP.
