Above the DNA sequence is the encoded amino acid sequence of the Mlp protein, with the LPQTG motif in boldface. Double peaks indicate polymorphic nucleotides, which are included under the assigned sequence. The first polymorphism from the left shows that the encoded amino acid is different in the two Mlp proteins.
