Conversion of the substrates myristic acid and oleic acid to the ω-hydroxyacid and diacid products was determined based on the fraction of total radioactivity detected as each product and the concentration of functional cytochrome P450 used, based on the P450 concentration estimated by reduced CO difference spectra.
