Acute effects of intragastrically administered Cel (15 mg kg−1), ASA (40 mg kg−1) and ASA/PC (40 mg of NSAID kg−1) alone and in combination in rodent model systems on (a) gastric haemorrhagic lesions, where the surface area of lesions was measured by caliper, with n=7–8 rats/group and on (b) gastric bleeding as measured by Hb concentration, with n=7–9 rats/group.
