Table 1.

Intra-session head motion. For the head-centered coordinate system derived from dipole-fit inferred coil locations, the following values are reported: In the “total” columns, standard deviations from its mean position and orientation, in terms of translatory and rotational movement. In the “task” columns, amount of task-related movement, with associated descriptive p-values in the “p” columns if significant (<0.05). In the two rightmost columns, brain signal modulation during training sessions is given in terms of relative amplitude modulation ΔA/A0. In the “actual” column: Relative amplitude modulation after spatial and spectral filtering as done on-line. In the “simulated” column: Estimated amount of modulation caused by task-related movements. Index 0 denotes the initial session (without feedback). For participant F’s second training session, no localization data was available. Please refer to the text for further details (sec. 2.8.2).
