Immunoblot analysis of the α and β subunits of the maxi-K channel. Membranes prepared from COS-1 cells transiently transfected with either α or α+β subunits of the maxi-K channel were separated by SDS/PAGE under reducing conditions and immunoblotted using anti-α_913–926 (A), or anti-β_118–132 (B). In B, α+β membranes were incubated overnight with recombinant N-glycanase (+) and compared with membranes treated identically, but in the absence of enzyme (−).
