Crosslinking of 125I-ChTX to the β subunit of the maxi-K channel. Membranes prepared from COS-1 cells transiently transfected with either α or α+β subunits were incubated with 125I-ChTX in the presence of 5 μM paxilline, and then reacted with DSS.
