Membranes prepared from COS-1 cells transiently transfected with either α (A) or α+β (B) subunits of the maxi-K channel were incubated with ¹²⁵I-ChTX in the absence or presence of increasing concentrations of either paxilline (▪) or aflatrem (▴) until equilibrium was achieved. Specific binding was assessed relative to an untreated control.
