Relevance
I have confidence that the developer of the guideline is well
qualified and knowledgeable about hand hygiene.
The recommendations of the Guideline are relevant to my patient
population
The person I report to expects me to use the guideline.
The Guideline is based on sound scientific evidence.
Motivation If I follow the recommendations of the Guideline, it is likely that my
hands will be in worse shape.
It is not really practical to follow the Guideline recommendations.
I do not wish to change my hand hygiene practices, regardless of
what the Guideline recommends.
There are other guidelines regarding hand hygiene that conflict with
this one.
