Given four matching contour points (white circles) from two biplane fluoroscopic images, four object points (black circles) are reconstructed using point reconstruction. Weights are assigned to the reconstructed points based on their distance from the line f1f2. A spline is then approximated using the weighted points. This process is repeated for all contour points resulting in a set of 3-D splines.
