RNA was extracted from K562 cells 3 h after treatment with sense (lane S), antisense (lane AS), mutant (lane M), and no (lane no) oligonucleotides and analyzed by RT-PCR. Amplification of hypothanthine phosphoribosyltransferase (HPRT) as a control is shown at the bottom. The final concentration of antisense and negative control oligonucleotides used was 20 μM.
