The effect of MnCl2 on the protein levels of SOD2 (A) and COX2 (B). Human astrocytes were treated with 0, 10, 50, or 200 μM MnCl2 for 7 days. Then protein extracts were prepared and subjected to Western blotting analysis. The PVDF membranes were probed with antibodies against SOD2, COX2 and β-actin, respectively. Equal amounts of cellular proteins were loaded in every lane.
