The effect of nitecapone and glu-dopa on cAMP accumulation in LLCPK-1 cells. (A) Nitecapone treatment (5 μM; 20 min) caused an increase in cAMP accumulation (∗, P < 0.05). This effect was abolished in the presence of a D1 receptor antagonist (SCH23390; 5 μM). (B) Glu-dopa treatment (5 μM; 1 min) caused an increase in cAMP accumulation (∗, P < 0.05). This effect was abolished in the presence of 5 μM SCH23390. Results are means ± SEM for three experiments.
