Detection of PAR₄ in rat DRG and artery by RT-PCR. PAR₄ was assessed by the amplification of a specific 463-bp PCR fragment, whereas GAPDH was a 306-bp fragment. PAR₄ was detected in rat DRG cultures (a, lanes 1–2; b, lane 2), and aorta (a, lane 5), but not in DRG culture in the absence of PAR₄ primer (a, lanes 3–4; b, lane 3).
