Effect of TNF-α-expressing adenoviral vector on cytokine production by lung leukocytes from C. neoformans-infected mice (day 7). Lung leukocytes were isolated from a whole-lung enzymatic digest as described in Materials and Methods and then cultured with the T-cell mitogen concanavalin A for 24 h. Culture supernatants were assayed by ELISA. The groups are the same as those described in the legend to Fig. 3. Each group contained eight mice from two separate experiments as described in Materials and Methods.
