EBV-mediated stimulation of TLR7 enhances B-cell proliferation. (A) Naive B cells were incubated with UV-inactivated virus in the presence or absence of R837 (2 μg/ml) for 3 days. (B) Naive B cells were infected with BXI virus in the presence of a control oligonucleotide or IRS 661 (TLR7 inhibitory oligonucleotide) at 2.8 μM. Cells were treated at days 0, 3, and 5.
