Enhanced SAR phenotypes in Arabidopsis CaPO2-OX plants. DAB (A) and trypan blue (B) staining of primary and secondary leaves of wild-type and CaPO2-OX plants 24 h after challenging lower primary leaves with Pst DC3000 or Pst DC3000 (avrRpt2; 10⁷ cfu mL⁻¹). Secondary (S) leaves were also simultaneously infiltrated with 1 mm KCN (peroxidase inhibitor) or 2.5 μm DPI (NADPH oxidase complex inhibitor) immediately after Pst inoculation.
