Characterization of the [³H]-labeled oligosaccharide alditols liberated from the receptor glycoprotein after PNGase treatment

After PNGase treatment, the glycoprotein was treated with NaOH-[³H]NaBH₄, as described in Experimental Procedures. The released mixture of oligosaccharide alditols were subjected to anion exchange chromatography, and the flow-through fraction (FT) and the fractions eluted with 50 mM NaCl/10 mM Tris·Cl (pH 8.0) and then with 100 mM NaCl/10 mM Tris·Cl (pH 8.0) were analyzed. 

^*The amount of O-glycan in each fraction was determined by quantitating the amount of [³H]GalNAcol after acid hydrolysis using a Dionex MA-1 column.
