A distinct fluorescence signal is not detectable. The middle row exhibits the partial high fluorescence intensity of the LipofectAmin® transfected cells whereas the predominant part of the cells a low fluorescence signal located near the cellular membrane (right). The DIC-exposure (left) shows apoptotic features like Membrane blebbing. The lower row exemplifies the fluorescence signals in HeLa cells after BioShuttle phNIS-IRES-EGFP-transport. In all HeLa cells a nearly homogeneous fluorescence signal could be observed as revealed by merged in the DIC- and fluorescence exposures.
