Stability of MAP microtubules after dilution. Rhodamine-tubulin (40 μM) was polymerized for 90 min in the presence of MAP60 (0.1 μM) before dilution in PB supplemented with MAP60 (0.1 μM). The diluted samples were analyzed after 2 h of incubation. (A) Representative image of 10 times diluted MAP microtubules after 2 h of incubation. In the control, microtubules formed and diluted 10-fold without MAP60 completely depolymerize within 15 min (B).
